I just bought a new 10″ memory foam mattress, which has a 3″ memory top layer & 7″ regular mattress material. I’m also thinking to put a goose down mattress topper on top on this for extra comfort, but I’m not sure if this combination works…
Has anyone tried this before?

My son has. He said his back hurt with just the memory foam but when he put the feather bed on top that it has worked great for him.
Putting things like a topper, mattress pad, or other materials will not allow the heat from your body to tranfer to the memory foam. Which can make it harder.
