Memory Foam Topper Cover

When looking for a memory foam topper cover there are things you should look out for: the design, the color, and the thread count.

The Design

The design of your topper cover for memory foam is very important because if you don’t have the right design then you bedroom is going to look a little junky. What you need is to find a design that matches the rest of the décor in the room. If your décor in the bedroom is modern or flashy with solid designs then you should buy a topper cover that features that same modern design. If you have a more traditional look in your bedroom like say, a Cape Cod, type design then you would obviously want maybe a solid design.

The Color

The color you choose is just as important as the design. If the color is off then it will look really tacky. What you need to do is figure out what the dominant color in your bedroom is and then find a memory foam topper cover that matches that color. If you have flashy modern colors in your bedroom then you want a flashy modern color on your cover. If you have a traditional muted color in your bedroom then you want a traditional muted color on your topper. Whatever color dominates your bedroom is the color you want on your cover.

The Thread Count

When you own a memory foam bed then you know what comfort means. When you own a regular mattress and you put a memory foam topper on top of the mattress you also know what comfort means. No matter what kind of memory foam bed you have you need a cover that is just as comfortable as the memory foam itself. One way to distinguish how comfortable a memory foam topper cover is going to be is to look at the thread count of the fabric. The thread count is the amount of thread used in a fabric per square inch. The
more thread that’s used the softer to the touch the fabric will be. There for if there is a higher thread count then you will have a more comfortable cover and a more overall
comfortable sleep experience.

Also be aware of Ply. Ply can artificially inflate the thread count. Ply is the amount of threads which are put together to make fibre and then it is woven into the linen.

These are just a few tips on how to find the right memory foam topper cover.
