Dog Bed Memory Foam

dog bed memory foam

A dog bed memory foam is meant to be very easy on your pet’s body. Of all the mattresses you can purchase for your pet to sleep on the memory foam is going to provide the most comfort and the most support. If your dog suffers from arthritis, joint pain, dysplasia, etc. then you need to seriously consider getting him or her a dog bed made with memory foam.

Your Dog Will Benefit From A Large Memory Foam Dog Bed

No matter what the shape or size of your dog he or she can benefit from a mark memory foam dog bed. The beds provide relief from pressure points that other beds just do not and can not provide. How does it do this? By displacing the weight of your pet over the entire surface of the bed and not just on the heaviest parts of the body. In a regular mattress when you or your pet lays down there is only a certain amount of give and the heaviest parts of your body (the hips, head, shoulders, etc.) bear the brunt of the weight. That’s why you wake up in the morning feeling sore and sleepy. You tend to toss and turn at night because pressure points cause stiffness and soreness. With memory foam bed for dogs your entire body is equally supported (as well as your pets with a dog bed memory foam) so the pressure points that are present in a traditional mattress are completely eliminated in a foam one.

Now comes the hard part. The price. Memory foam beds for you or your dog are not cheap. You are going to have to pay for unparalleled support and comfort. However it’s not insanely expensive. You can find a good dog bed memory foam for around seventy dollars to one-hundred dollars and more. The top of the line foam beds (they even have a heated memory foam dog bed) for pets are going to run you upwards of three-hundred dollars. But you don’t need to buy the top of the line (unless your budget allows it).

All you need to do is make sure the memory foam dog is a good thickness based on the weight of your dog. It goes like this: If your dog weighs 100 pounds or less you need at least a four inch thick foam bed. If the dog weighs 100 pounds or more you need at least an eight inch thick foam bed. The correct thickness guarantees that the dog bed memory foam will be thick enough to support the entire weight of your dog.
