Most latex today in these mattresses are made of a combination of synthetic and natural latex. This combination tends to make the mattress more resilient. You will find that some people disagree. The all-natural latex manufacturers claim that the rubber they use in their latex (all natural rubber from rubber trees) is just as sturdy and strong as the chemical latex (made with petrochemical synthetic latex).

There may be no real difference in feel but there is a difference in costs. A memory foam latex mattress made of synthetic latex is much less expensive than an all natural one so it really depends on your budget whether or not you’ll go with a natural or synthetic latex mattress with memory foam.
